Android O is "touching down to Earth with the total solar eclipse" on August 21, Google reveals
As rumored last week, August 21 will be an important day for Google and its mobile operating system. That's because the company promises we'll "meet the next release of Android and all of its super (sweet) new powers" on that day, which is also the day of the total solar eclipse. Google will hold a special event for Android O in New York City on that date, starting at 2:40 PM ET. This will thankfully be livestreamed, the company revealed.
