Samsung Galaxy S24+ might get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in most countries
For 2023's Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, Samsung used only Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips across all markets, which was an interesting departure from its usual strategy of splitting the world between its own Exynos chip and Qualcomm's latest and greatest. Exynos detractors (and there are many) celebrated, but then it seemed like the victory was going to be short lived. The S24 Ultra is still expected to only go with Snapdragon, but the S24 and S24+ were to once again have a split, with the Exynos 2400 in the mix in a lot of markets.
