As the new vivo X100 Pro gets into the hands of keen testers, we can finally get an idea of the thermal performance of the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset with its four-Cortex X4 CPU cores and no efficiency units. As expected, cooling a chipset with four high-performance cores is a tough task. In a popular CPU throttling test, the eight-core processor throttled down to 46% of its performance in just 2 minutes time.
