Upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset performs better than the Snapdragon 768G

MediaTek's Dimensity line of 5G capable chipsets is about to expand even more. The company has already announced its top of the line Dimensity 1200 and Dimensity 1100 for 2021, so the upcoming chip will be lower down, decidedly in the mid-range space. It's tentatively called Dimensity 900, and is meant to succeed the Dimensity 820. According to a new rumor out of China, the Dimensity 900 (model number MT6877) has outperformed Qualcomm's Snapdragon 768G chipset in the AnTuTu benchmark, scoring about 480,000, compared to 440,000.
