Galaxy M41 may be Samsung's first phone to use third-party OLED display
Samsung Display still dominates the small OLED display business (i.e. phones, watches, tablets), largely on the back of the sibling Samsung Electronics division but also high-profile customers like Apple. Now the company is looking to source OLED displays from external manufacturers. The first phone to use a non-Samsung OLED will be the Galaxy M41, according to insiders. They add that Samsung has already chosen China Star Optoelectronics Technology (CSOT), which is owned by TCL.
