Huawei's Kirin 820 5G outperforms Snapdragon 855 and Kirin 980
The Kirin 820 5G has been popping up on our news feed for the last couple of weeks and we even had a pretty comprehensive report regarding the platform's details. Now, we have some insight into the performance as well. Based on its Geekbench 4 scores, the Kirin 820 5G can outperform the Snapdragon 855 in a single-core tests. It also beats the Kirin 980 in both single-thread and multi-thread performance. Perhaps, this is due to the main Cortex-A76 cores being clocked higher.
