Upcoming Sony Xperia phone to come with a punch-hole display

Sony brought back some much-needed refreshes to its 2019 portfolio with the updated Xperia line, most notably the new 21:9 aspect ratio displays and it seems 2020 will bring even more refinements to the Xperia phones including a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. A newly published patent on WIPO Global Design Database from Sony showcases the user interface of an upcoming device as well as its screen which sports minimal top bezels.
