Samsung is cutting its Exynos production by 10% in light of South Korea-Japan trade dispute
At the beginning of the month, Japan imposed restrictions on its chemical exports to South Korea used in the production of displays and semiconductors components. As a result, a report from The Korean Herald claims that Samsung is cutting down its Exynos 9825 chipset production by an estimated 10% which would in turn slow down Galaxy Note10 production. According to a Samsung official who remained anonymous, the slowdown in chipset production will be compensated in the coming months.
