Samsung sold 5 million Galaxy A phones in India in just 70 days

Just 40 days after the new Galaxy A series became in India, Samsung reported that it has sold 2 million units. Now, 30 days later, that number has more than doubled to a total of 5 million units. The Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung India spoke with Reuters, saying that this generated a revenue north of $1 billion. Samsung reportedly expects the revenue for the fiscal year 2019 to reach $4 billion. Considering that Samsung's revenue in India for the fiscal 2018 (which ended in March) was $5.3 billion, it seems that Samsung expects most of its sales to be generated by the new Galaxy A...
