Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi launched the Redmi Note 7 in India back in February. And yesterday, the company announced the Redmi Note 7S in the country which is actually a re-branded version of the Chinese Note 7. Now, Redmi has confirmed that the Note 7 will be replaced by the Note 7S in India, effectively aligning its offerings with the Chinese market. It's hardly a shock as the two smartphones are priced similarly and come with an identical hardware, except for the dual camera setup at the back.
