Xiaomi also increases prices in India

Last week Realme stopped offering its devices on their initial promo prices, announced at Flipkart and Amazon India. This weekend Xiaomi followed through with the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A, along with two of its Mi LED TVs and a 10,000 mAh power bank. Manu Kumar Jain, director of Xiaomi India, took it to Twitter to announce the reason, and it is the same as the one given by Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme - the price of the Indian rupee is falling, and the company has to adjust the pricing to the production costs.
