Apple working with Health Canada to bring the Watch 4 ECG across the border
The Apple Watch Series 4 went on sale today, but one of its best new features will not be available - the ECG. It received FDA clearance just in time (at very last moment, actually), but it will be enabled later on via a software update. But that's for the USA. Apparently, Apple is also in talks with Health Canada to enable the ECG feature in the future. The Canadian authority is seen as more cautious than the FDA, so it's not certain that the feature will be approved. But that's how it's going to be.
