JioPhone 2 pre-orders start on August 15

The JioPhone 2 was announced over a month ago but still hasn't made it to the retail stores. It's a well-connected featurephone and offers a significant upgrade over its runaway success of a predecessor so many will be happy to know that it's finally approaching availability. The device can be booked starting August 15 for INR 2,999 ($43) via Jio's official website or the MyJio app. Unfortunately, though, we don't know when the device will start shipping to customers but it should only be a few days after the pre-orders.
