Samsung Galaxy S9 running Android 8.1 spotted in benchmarks

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, which launched in March running Android 8.0 out of the box, may be about to get the 8.1 update in the near future. The Galaxy S9 has been spotted in a Geekbench listing running Android 8.1. Samsung hasn't provided any guideline on when the update will arrive, and benchmark listings can't be seen as anything certain, but at least we know the update is in development. We can hope that the testing goes smoothly and the official rollout isn't that far away now. Via
