There are two kinds of people in the world - iOS fans and Android fans. Of iOS fans, more than double the number of people want an iPhone X than an iPhone 8 or 8 Plus. Analysts saw this coming when they forecast that the X will account for half of the sales. Our poll shows the divide is 2 to 1 instead of 1 to 1, but wanting to buy the phone and actually getting it is another matter. The issue is twofold - price and availability.
