The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is official. The rugged slate has been announced by Samsung Netherlands with local businesses in mind. As rumored, the Galaxy Tab Active 2 comes with a rugged body with military-standard MIL-STD-810 certification and IP68 water and dust protection. The 8-inch 1280x800px display has a high sensitivity mode for use with gloves on. A fingerprint scanner sits inside the home button.
