Asus may give up on Zenwatch wearables because of low sales

Asus released its latest wearable, the Zenwatch 3, last year. It followed the Zenwatch 2 from 2015 and the original Zenwatch from 2014. With this once-per-year release cadence you'd think that Asus was pretty satisfied with its devices' performance in this market, but apparently you'd be wrong. According to a report said to be coming from "sources of Taiwan's supply chain", the company is barely selling any smartwatches. It's allegedly only been ordering 5,000 to 6,000 units on average per month recently. Let that sink in for a minute, then compare it to Apple shipping more than a million...
